What do you weigh?

I weighed myself this morning and realized I am at 201 pounds, which is nearly 10 pounds more than when I last weighed myself a few months ago. Granted, that was before Christmas and Thanksgiving, but that’s still no excuse. I feel like the Kirstie Alley commercial a few years ago for her TV show “Fat Actress” in which she’s desperately looking for her “fat pants” and realizes that even her “fat pants” don’t fit. I can’t blame my pregnancies for this–I can only blame myself.

I have lost a pound! That is my goal–one pound per week for this year. Nice and steady….though right now agonizingly slow.

Down another pound! My scale is not super-accurate–no digital display or anything–so it looks like it might be a fraction more than that. But I’m so excited that I’ve lost another pound mid-week! That means that I’m on track to lose two pounds this week. I’m down below 200 pounds. It still freaks me out to think that I weigh this much, but hey, I have to see where I am to know where I’m going1

Oh, yeah, this was supposed to be a “weekly” weigh-in–on Mondays. Oops. Forgot. I did weigh myself on Monday, though, and it was two pounds (and perhaps a tad more). I only have a scale with a dial and tiny numbers, so it’s a bit difficult to know fractions of pounds. Heck, sometimes it’s hard to know for sure whole pounds! Anyway, I weighed myself on Tuesday, and was down for sure another pound. So that made three pounds; and then this morning, it looked like it was yet another pound, so that makes *4* pounds. Woo-hoo! That jazzes me up, to see the numbers come off like that!

In March I weighed 268… today 217!!

Wow — 50 lb in 6 months! That’s awesome!!
