Rules to Break

I just came across this article on msnbc, about which health “rules” you should listen to and which you shouldn’t (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22575539/). I like it and would recommend reading it. Basically, the rules are good for most people, but some people need to modify it. For instance, the first “rule” is to eat lots of whole grains, especially for the fiber….but for people who are sensitive to wheat and gluten (celiac disease), that will make them feel bad and actually worsen their health. For the most part, the rules are rules; but you may need to modify “what everybody knows.”
